To Paradise

It's been busy since the beginning of the school year~! Not just with classes but extracurricular activities as well! There are a bunch of trouble makers in the new group of freshman at Yamabuki that the disciplinary committee has been having trouble with. Instead of stopping them, though, they've started harassing people where we can't see them! We aren't supposed to be able to do anything about them outside of school grounds... as part of the committee anyway.

I started taking care of them anyway when they'd stop kids on their way to and from school, and hopefully they're getting the hint~! The one with the black eye hasn't said anything about it to anyone anyway, so I think I was persuasive enough~! I told the committee members not to follow me, because we're as likely to get in trouble outside school grounds as the people we're stopping, but it seems they're doing the same thing, too! I need to try telling them to stop again~ I grew up fighting and doing this sort of thing, but they didn't~!

As a precaution to anyone from Yamabuki, make sure you don't stick around near campus, and if you have to, don't do it alone! And don't try to fight them yourselves if they try coming after you! Run, or give them what they want and report it to the disciplinary committee or the school. I'm not really supposed to do this, but if you can tell me about it soon enough I can get back whatever they took from you. They're looking for easy targets, but don't underestimate them! If I hadn't taken my nunchaku with me I might have had a couple of bad bruises myself by now~

I got a phone call today~! A long one~ It was nice talking to all of my family. Grandma wanted to make sure I wasn't letting Hiroshi get me sick anymore and asked a lot of embarrassing questions. Apparently she was very, um. Active as a teenager and lots of things I didn't need to know! I think she forgot for a moment that birth control isn't really an issue~

My mother said she's sending a huge box of food, which, when she says that I'm sure she means it. Some of you have seen how she is when she says a lot of food! Anyways it should arrive here by the weekend so if you guys want to come eat it then, please do~! Especially Hiroshi, Yuujirou and Eishirou! There's no way I'd be able to eat it all myself~! Times like this don't you wish that glutton had followed us here to Tokyo~?

I think the best part of the phone call, though, was Nee-san~ She talked to me like normal, which made me glad~ Hopefully this means she's gotten or is getting over her thing for Hiroshi. Or at least she's stopped hating me because of it~! Though she did say she was sending some things along with the box of food for both of us, so we'll see! Maybe she learned to make something other than black scarves~

Actually, that wasn't the only phone call I got~! Hiroshi, I love your siblings~ Not as much as you, but they're really sweet, too~! Ettchan is really growing up, isn't she~? Her conversation was a lot like my Grandma's without all the personal experiences. She's telling No-chan stories, too, because No-chan keeps thinking she's going to be an aunt. Can someone please explain to her that boys can't have children~? That and I've just turned 16, I'm definitely not old enough to be a parent!

But I was really glad to hear from all of them. They're all family to me~

(ooc: I apologize profusely for Rin. -.-; I don't know where he is. D: He doesn't get along with Hyoutei and that's where my mind has been for months. Like, daily, everything's Hyoutei Hyoutei Hyoutei which is great... but Rin doesn't like it. D:)

I might have learned my lesson about curiosity and adventures from the India trip, but it was so much fun anyway that I don't know if I'll follow them~ I guess not everyone in India is part of a secret cult with hidden agendas! The sudden disappearance of our wallets didn't help with my suspicions, either~! I was a little disappointed that nothing collapsed or shot darts at us, though we had all sorts of adventures anyway~! I learned quite a bit more about hip movements, and though belly dancing is more for people with well, bellies, I think Touji and I did well! It was a lot of fun anyway, though I doubt I'll wear an outfit like that again without a good reason~!

I'm exhausted but no one in my house was letting me rest~! Grandma had me put up decorations despite my father being the tallest in the house, but since he makes such a good living she lets him get off easy in everything! and my mother insisted that I help her with the cooking. As always, she was expecting to feed a small army~! (I think that comes from my Grandma's influence as well, who probably did try to feed small armies!)

Sorry Hiroshi, I hope you don't mind having 5 new scarves now~! I have no idea when Nee-san learned to knit! She apparently can't make anything but scarves yet, but I doubt you've seen the last of her hand-knitted stuff! She seems to think that Tokyo is very, very cold. (and it is!) I made the mistake of helping her straighten up, and I don't think I've ever seen so much black yarn~!

I think Natsuki is giving me the cold shoulder, though. Grandma didn't mention it, but I'm pretty sure she's told my family about the relationship between Hiroshi and I. It would explain why my mother was so excited to have us back, even more than I would have expected for being away. It could be her just being excited that we're not on another island or even in another country~! But Nee-san's not been speaking to me unless she has to. At least, though, I'm pretty sure that it's not her being upset I fell in love with a boy~ She's upset that I fell in love with Hiroshi. It was funny that she threw herself at him all the time, but now it's a little awkward~ I hope she gets over it, because there's no way I'm giving him up!

Merry Christmas everyone! I'm already looking forward to New Years!

Oops~! Seems the Hyoutei chemistry labs had another accident~! I had a big project that I missed while I've been sick and staying at Hiroshi's. (Speaking of that, looks like I'll need the rest of the homework I've been missing, if you wouldn't mind bringing it, Yuujirou! I know you're keeping busy with Eishirou~) He was nice enough to bring me to the labs and help me out with it. The cough medicine makes me a little fuzzy, though, so I wasn't thinking right~

Since Hiroshi's reflexes have always been faster than mine, he helped me out of the way when I somehow exploded what I was working on! I think besides the glass shards and the chemicals in the air, everything should be okay~ But of course I had to thank Hiroshi from pulling me out of danger~! So even though Ueno-sensei had come to take a closer look at the mess, I might have gotten a little carried away in thanking Hiroshi~ How was I supposed to know he'd get embarassed from kissing in front of people? We do that all the time and he's always the one starting it~! I don't think he minded much after I backed him into the wall. Or if he did mind it he has opposite ways of showing it~! I couldn't help it, adrenaline does strange things to me~

I hope Ueno-sensei's doing alright! He was looking a little off by the time we left~

And are you doing alright Hiroshi~? I thought I heard you sneezing last night.

Since no one should be sick on their birthday, I've sent Yuujirou with some of the cure-all my Grandma swears by! Along with instructions to make sure you take it! We've learned not to ask what's in it~ Though, so you have something that will last from your special day, I got you some pants~! They reminded me of the Higa uniform, and I think they'll look good with your hair!

The flight to America was too long~ But it was a nice chance to sit and rest, even if I really wanted to stand up and move around. And it's not completely freezing here~! I can finally stop wearing three layers and stealing Hiroshi's warm clothes when I forget mine in the room!

Hiroshi was right, I really suck at English. The people talk a lot faster than the instructors did! And there are so many rules and exceptions~ But that doesn't matter because Hiroshi knows English so he's taking care of it all!

The hotel is really nice~! Sharing a room with Hiroshi is something he's 'taking advantage of' as he puts it. He also puts it a lot of other ways and I'm still not sure my blush has died down from that very ...interesting talk we had last night. I think I learned a lot more about his thoughts than I ever wanted to know. Though strangely I do like that I know what he's thinking, even things like that.

We're going to go wandering to meet ghosts one of these nights~ That is, if I don't scare them off! American ghosts might be a little more bold, right? And shopping! Hiroshi and Yuujirou agreed to go, so it shouldn't be hard getting Eishirou to come with us as well!

Of course, even in we're in a different country we can't neglect our tennis, so practice matches were fun again~ When nationals and tournaments happen next year we'll all know everyone's play styles well. I guess we can't always be the mysterious dark horse~!

So after skipping everything today to just sleep I feel a lot better! I haven't had a good rest since that match with Echizen and it's been one thing after another! I still ache in some places but it's not so bad. Ignore my last few posts, will you? I don't know what got into me~! Well, I do but it doesn't really matter, I've calmed down, and that was not the way to prove my point~! Sorry Hiroshi, you'll have to get used to me not being hot all the time~

Seems tomorrow we're flying off, and I hope our trip ends up being fun~!

Dammit~!! Will you stop worrying and sympathizing with the stupid kid and start remembering that my boyfriend got hurt, too~? Yes, he has a high pain tolerance, but that does not mean he wasn't beaten by that kid, and me when things got out of hand too!

You're saying that because we don't hide ourselves away and pretend we didn't mean to do it means we're suddenly the bullies here~? Is school pride for a school we aren't even part of anymore something terrible? We may have a reputation, but we aren't the only school to have sent people to the hospital. Person.

We're not innocent, we did fight back because we don't let people walk over us, but at least we aren't in denial. I'd like it if you didn't automatically assume that every stray paintball was our fault, and would stop pretending that the game isn't to shoot everyone else. Because it is, and capture the flag is a game to do whatever it takes to steal a flag and defend your own. Which is what we did. And whoever that was asking if we were so good at accuracy drills because we practice hitting them at people is lucky they didn't get a tennis ball to the face!

No, fighting isn't a joke but some people take things too personally~! This is only a battle because you're making it one! We would have been paintballing like that anyway. Well, maybe~ If you got shot it was your own fault, because that is the point of the game.

And those of you who are blaming that fight yesterday on us should remember that it was the kid who started it! We threw snowballs, he threw punches. He knew what Hiroshi was capable of. We're martial artists and fighters, if someone attacks us you can't expect us to sit back and take it! Don't yell at others who tried to stop it as well!

You picked the wrong group of people to fight with, but if that's what you want, you'll get it. Don't expect me to hold anyone back next time.

Damn~! Now that was a fight. I did warn that pissing too many people off was going to get Hiroshi in trouble sometime, but that kid was insane~! I didn't expect him to get in as many hits as he did, because Hiroshi is no pushover. It was like he was possessed! That Kirihara has a mean punch, I think those are nail marks on my cheek and my lip still feels numb. I should probably go clean up~!
Sorry about that kick to the face and tearing you away, Hiroshi, but I didn't want you killing him! I normally would have let you just beat them, but this isn't Higa and is not the place to cause serious damage. You looked ready to break something, and so did the kid. I'll have to check on him later, because I'm not sure that you didn't!
It was a hell of a lot of fun, though, since I haven't done that in far too long~

Between yesterday's match with Echizen, snowball fights, tennis, and a brawl like that I'm going to be hurting like hell in the morning~ And we have paintballing to look forward to! I hope you all are ready for this.

Last night's talent show was funny~! I considered entering, but... I think it's a lot cooler having hidden skills~ Some of you, especially those at Yamabuki, will eventually get a chance to see just what has come of my martial arts training.

Thanks for the game today, Echizen! After tutoring(which I spent most of the time anticipating the match) we met up at the courts, and I can say I've never been that pressed before in a match! You really have sealed the shukuchihou! I had to pull out all sorts of moves, and I can't believe you even figured out how to counter my Habu. I'm exhausted. Someday we'll have to have a rematch again, and you had better be just as prepared as you were today~! More, even, because I'll put up a better fight then. You haven't seen the end of Higa yet~!

Running on snow is not like running on sand~ not as much shifting and give, and that's a good thing! The marathon yesterday wasn't easy, of course, but I've run marathons on beaches~! It was even fun despite the cold, because with enough exertion you stay warm and I was running with Hiroshi.

And I was right, the lecture did turn out funny. We're a group of boys who know that already, but we still do whatever we want. Limits are made to be passed, and injuries can be worked around! When you used to break up fights on a daily basis, you get used to injury and what can and can't be done with them~!

Yes Eishirou, I went to tutoring today. It wasn't so boring today, because Hiroshi came to keep me company~!

I have a match with that Echizen kid on Friday~ I'm looking forward to it!!

Does anyone have some muscle cream, by the way? I'm sure someone here does~!

I don't see why we still have to have tutoring if we came to this camp to get away from schoolwork! Yes Eishirou, I paid attention to the tutor today. So no goya! Tomorrow's lecture should be interesting, because of how many people probably won't listen to it~!

The movies today were okay. I don't like sitting still, so I wandered every once in a while, but the scary movies were worth sticking around for~!

Next week's activities are looking fun~! I never imagined I'd be so looking forward to playing out in the cold, but this camp is still a great chance to be with the old team~! So what do you say we form team Higa again and win that snowball war~? It will keep Hiroshi from covering me in snow, at least!

Tennis was lots of fun~ It's been too long since Hiroshi and I got to play a real doubles match like that! Playing with Yuujirou was another nice surprise! I like doubles better than singles, though I can play both. It felt good to show people the strength of Higa even if we technically aren't Higa anymore~!

Yesterday's match between Hiroshi and Eishirou was really something, wasn't it~? I love seeing them fight, because if there's anyone I trust in a good fight close to as much as Hiroshi, it's Eishirou. It had me itching for a fight, too, but I'm not the type to go out and pick one~!

Because of that I think I'll be joining Yamabuki's disciplinary committee soon! I'm sure they'll let me in even so late in the year, because they need members by the look of it. Since I was part of Higa's, keeping discipline at Yamabuki will be no problem at all~!

So I guess the camping wasn't so cold, some of the time~

The hike would have been more fun if I hadn't been freezing! And if I hadn't left my scarf in the room. I had to steal Hiroshi's~ But the scenery was pretty and different~! Snow is like sand but fluffier and whiter and sticks together better.

But~ we had a fire to sit around and play with! I spent more time poking sticks at it than actually roasting marshmallows. Or burning them.

Sleeping overnight was warmer than expected~

I should start paying attention to the tutor, but he doesn't seem to notice when I'm not! Oops, nevermind, yes he does!

(ooc: Seriously, RP needs to stop affecting my life. >.> Last night was what must have been the coldest night of the year so far!! D: And interestingly, my dad and brother are going to be camping out in the snow tonight. XD At least it's not me!)

Today felt a lot better than the rest of the days I've been here~! Despite having tutoring. Could be because I decided to grab my gloves and scarf before heading out to build snowmen with Yuujirou. We made a gigantic one~! And Yuu named it Kei-kun. If the people in the cafeteria complain about missing tongs, it wasn't us~~

We've still got a while before lights out, but I think I'll go back to the room anyway~ It's warmer in there than it has been.

Relaxing with Eishirou in the onsen was a very welcome part of the day~! He left his... pretty scarf in there, so I think I'll take the time to return it to him. Then maybe I'll go see Kai and find out how his trust exercises today went! He doesn't really know anyone from his room, so I hope it went well~! Ours was alright, though there were a few problems.

Eishirou, was that gathering really necessary? You had just seen me, and we can go invade Kai's room anytime, I don't think he'll mind~!

It's still so cold~! It's like the wind blows straight through my bones, and even under the blankets the bed seems cold! I miss Okinawa, and the way things used to be. I'm tired, I should probably go back to the room and go to sleep~

(ooc: BTW guys, just so you know, my nights have been getting ridiculous. That is, I only remember my dreams once in a while and last night was the THIRD DREAM I can remember having about Rin and Chinen. XDD I DON'T EVEN DREAM ABOUT GAKUTO! At least not much, and certainly not in dreams I remember like these. This one involved Rin and Chinen not getting along, and so they ended up making up on the roof of a building while watching the stars together~ It was so freaking cute! (if you forget those nonsensical things that are included in all dreams, like the photo album Chinen had of when Higa was all bridesmaids for a wedding. YES. BRIDESMAIDS. o.o;;))

I hope you didn't mind me hanging around your room, Yuujirou~! I'll hang out with you here at camp a lot to make up for not seeing you much before!

I wasn't feeling hungry, so I hoped no one missed me when I didn't stay around the barbecue long. That and it's cold! The cafeteria is a lot warmer than outside on the tennis courts. They really expect us to play in that kind of temperature?

Eishirou, I think I'll take you up on that run to the onsen anytime!

Ow~ I woke up this morning with a huge headache. I haven't had a hangover like that in a while~ Brought Hiroshi to that Pandora club last night, and the sayings were right, it really was his sort of place~! The whole night was kind of a fuzzy blur, though, and I hardly remember anything! What did I drink?

Hiroshi... sorry for leaving so soon this morning, but I've been procrastinating and I have a lot of last-minute packing to do for camp. Hope your head feels better, too~! You really got drunk? So do you remember much?

Camp~! Camp will be so cold, but I'm packing every piece of winter wear I own! I'm also debating whether to dye my hair back to blonde today or leave it pink for the whole camp~ I'd change halfway through, but do you know if there will be any hair salons up there? If there aren't, I'll be stuck for weeks without touch-ups! My roots will start showing~! Should I dye it my natural black for camp, so then I won't have to worry about that? Too many options~!
